I had two bottles of this.
first one was very good, sweet with honey notes, then I opened second bottle and it was a little bit bitter, but faint honey aroma was still there

  5. whiskytheo did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

There are 3 bottles with the same label including Littemill 12 years and Glen Scotia 12 years.
    • Nose
Beautiful aromas of wood, herbs and a small sweetness is present, also he is slightly oily.
    • Taste
Contains some light herbs that are supplemented by a touch of lemon and a calyptus.
    • Finish
The aftertaste is mildly bitter, but also warming and calming.

    Inchmurrin, yeah,
well. It does not have a good reputation and this entry level malt does little
to correct that. Much better than the Loch Lomond single malt, but that is not
saying much. Around 30 EUR. Stay away from this.
    • Nose
      The nose is rather
flat on caramel and grain cookies, sweet malt and ginger. Vanilla and some
mint. Loads of nuts after a few moments. Some chocolate. But it also has some
wet cardboard, which is somewhat off putting. The nose is not bad, but still
      far from good.
    • Taste
      On the palate, it
goes downhill pretty fast. Loads of oak, making it somewhat dry. The nuts
return – sugared almonds? The wet cardboard is there as well. Worse than on the
      nose, in fact.
    • Finish
      The finish is soft,
      but quite woody.

Not the worst Loch Lomond I had till now.
    • Nose
Lots of caramel and malty sweetness. Soft ginger, nutiness and some mint. Vanilla as well.
    • Taste
Oaky freshness with a sharp peppery edge. Unexpectedly creamy and juicy. Sugared almonds.
    • Finish
      Medium long. Smooth. Woody

    Place: maltwhiskycorner
    • Nose
      Dettol, peaty notes, raisins
    • Taste
      Hay, toffee, farmy, honey, sweet
    • Finish
rather short, a bit of oak
