- Well, this wasn't too pleasant. Strange smell and taste besides some overripe oranges. It's just about drinkable, but a next I would pass this one.
Strange smell, some fruit, orange, and sweet, some honey, some poor quality caramel as well. And a bit dusty or something, hard to describe.
Very soft and smooth, that same kind of strange taste that was already present in the nose. Overripe oranges, still some of the caramel, pretty pale and not very pleasant.
Now it's getting a little better, a little pepper, some oranges, sweet, middle long. That strange taste is less present now.
- From the series Craignure 10-year-old, Druichan Islay 10-year-old, Ferintosh 10-year-old, Glenluig 10-year-old and Kincaple 10-year-old (Invergordon Distillers using brand names). The series name The Malts of Scotland is printed on the box and on the miniature label which is a replica of the box label .
This Ferintosh is said to be Tamnavulin.
