Overall, a very well-balanced dram. The flavor profile complements one another.
Sweetish and malty lemon tarts, raw honey, chamomile, ash.
Hit you in the face kind of sensation, powerful and explosive. Grassy, vegetative and raw. Reminds me of younger Convalmore, the 16 years JM. Not much complexity to be honest. It's really delicious but the inactive cask makes this whisky not ready yet. At 26 years and 61.4%, there is much more that could've been done for this. Super oily, thick, and viscous.
Long bittersweet mangoes, salted, peppery, lemon meringue with a drizzle of cinnamon.
