Whisky Reviews for Clan Denny Blended Malt from Islay HH
4 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 83.90 points
- The aroma is very smoky: peat, coals, salt, herbs and flowers, earthy shade, a bit of sweets (rather marmalade), vegetable oil, sea air, iodine. Young, assertive, but simple. The taste is sweet with bitterness: coals, smoke, lots of peat, salt, a little caramel and fruit. The aftertaste is dry, peaty, smoky with bitter taste. Simple, not very long. And ... no. Conclusion . Not at all interesting. Young, rude Ayla. Clubs of smoke and peat mountains. Again, the aroma is more interesting than taste and, especially, aftertaste. And here the bottle design obviously loses the former, but also does not affect the evaluation. Score 80 (n21t20f19b20).

- ... being Laphroaig and Lagavulin, as I read somewhere.
- Blend of Ardbeg, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, plus two further islay malts.
