The nose is a true splendor! Fruity, spicy, chocolate and a fruity freshness make me smell this seductive nose for a long time. In the taste, the fruity notes are unfortunately not so dominant and wooden aromas determine the direction. The reverberation is extremely long or intense, and so this image sample at the end but a very harmonious overall package, the taste as already mentioned flattening something. Tasty and good, 89 points.
    • Nose
Blind tasting: After pouring, an oily streak immediately formed on the glass wall from which many drops dissolve and run back into the glass relatively quickly. Even from afar, the fruity aromas are perceptible, green apple and citrus fragrant to the bet. Full-bodied orange aroma mixes with ripe apricots and peaches, sweetness plays with the fruits. Milk chocolate flows over Nusssplitter, a little cocoa powder flying dusty on the chocolate, a hint of cinnamon and vanilla gives the sweet mixture a spicy character. Woody and malt follow, then makes the estimated alcohol content of about 48-50% in the nose noticeable. Slightly grassy and floral notes, apples and cinnamon exude their intense aroma. Slowly my salivation is stimulated ...
    • Taste
Spicy and slightly tart wood tones dominate the first sip, while dark dried fruits mix with cinnamon, cocoa and other tasty spices in the next moment. Chubby heat and rising sharpness arise, a slight tingling lies between the gums and the inside of the lips. The tart and spicy notes of wood now dominate the taste, a touch of old furniture polish arises, a pinch of pepper burns easily in the complete palate. Old walnuts follow the slightly licorice-rich wood mixture, earthy and a little dirty, the taste goes into the aftertaste.
    • Finish
The tart wood elements stick to the palate, the subtle sharpness gives the finish a plump warmth and an earthy walnut aroma. Dark and harsh, the echo of the last Aufbäumen begins and then sounds very slow and leisurely with a subtly sharp and earthy wooden walnut note.

    Nice but no high flyer
    • Nose
      Blind tasting!

slightly smoky dirty smell with something between lemongrass and lemongrass. overall but rather slightly in the aroma. Over time, it becomes a little more fruity and opens up, grape and some kelp.
    • Taste
it runs buttery soft on the tongue, very mild and light with shortbread caramel, but rather something one-dimensional.
    • Finish
In the finish, the slightly smoky comes through again, the finish is medium long and brings in the end, but the aromas from the nose with the aftertaste. At the 2 tastes he brings then significantly more alc. With and acts overall stronger

Really nice whisky from a great bourbon barrel. Class Tormore, 90 points
    • Nose
Sweet-sour nose at the beginning, wine gummy bears. Very fruity, slightly artificial-fruity. A lot of apple and pears. fresh ciabatta. Ordinary wood flavor and malt notes. Nice!
    • Taste
very very creamy, no alcoholic strength despite almost 53%. Very sweet spices: a little coconut, a little cinnamon, a lot of vanilla. Typical good bourbon barrel with nice maturation. Dry wood notes without metallic sharpness confirm the age. Subtle chocolate flavors. Light nut flavors.
    • Finish
Long and vanilla-sweet. Only very slightly bitter. The apple remains present. a little dark chocolate

Very good, has a nice depth of profile and you could drink a lot of it.
    • Nose
Fruity & creamy is my first thought. Pear, apple and mango it smells like a fruit bomb.

Leave it in the glass a little and it develops nicely.
    • Taste
Very creamy and full bodied. Mango again but also fresh cream and light sponge cake.

Some sherbet fizz comes along and mixes nicely with the cake and cream notes.
    • Finish
Medium length on a sugary sweet finish
