The 25yo comes after the 35yo and 30yo of the millenium edition bottlings - to be honest the other older ones of th emillenium edition like 40yo, 45yo, 50yo are not really better
    • Nose
Intense, fruity, cooked oranges, dried fruits, figs, bananas, old books - very good
    • Taste
Very oily and creamy, fruity, citrus fruits, oranges, subtle sweetness balanced with fine oak wood - great
    • Finish
Medium long, warm, a bit spicy

N fruit candy, malt fragrance, bark, dried tangerine peel, star anise, a little mothballs, it seems to have a feeling of old Shirley Bowmore, it should be the best Genting I have ever tasted.
A bit of water in the mouth, tobacco leaves, herbs, grapes, wood, mothballs, dried tangerine peel, plum meat, and finally leather, spices, deep and complex flavors
F Medium length, smoke, cinnamon, a little pepper Deduction points: maybe it's been left for a long time, the entrance is a little watery
    C smells and tastes strong

One of the finest Springbanks out there that I have tasted, and I have tasted many. Out of the millennium set, this and the 30yo were the best (sherried, balanced, rich) in my humble opinion. 100% Springbank, distillery character unmistakable, so not going into the palate. Suffice to say, if you ever get a chance to taste, consider yourself lucky.

A painting art of a special kind! The leaves hardly any wishes open and with little Sherry influence, grandiose and extremely complex!
    • Nose
What a malt! The nose is nose nose with sea air, moss, fern and metallic notes. Sprinkled grape sugar and some pipe tobacco make the sweet and salty composition perfect!
    • Taste
The onset brings all kinds of honey to light, it is the pure essence and slightly oily, toffee and dark, flavored chocolate, molasses, syrupy.
      Ambrosia!!
    • Finish
      long and perfectly rounded

    A magnificently complex whisky.
    • Nose
Sea air. Sherry oak. Very clean.
    • Taste
Excellent sherry, but held in balance. Walnuts. Restrained  esters. Very faint suggestion of banana. Coconut. Salt. Brine.
    • Finish
Salty. Some peat. Dry. Creamy body.

N: Yeasty, mineral notes and tomatoes!
T: Amazingly youthful, oh wait… theres the maturity, yep thats some good cask influence at work. The body becomes richer and thickens and becomes more sugary with the oak always on hand. Long development
F: After a long development theres a wind down of flavour profiles, becoming fresh and then finishing with a sweet saline finish. Becomes strong and condensed at the end but never loses control or its playfulness.
C: Delicious, well matured, lovely presentation.

    Scores an A-
