  1. ColdAesthetics scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

Nice, summery malt with a nice twist in sharpness in contrast to the sweet bourbon body.
    • Nose
Lemon biscuits, floral notes in between, crumble cake, violets, apricots and vanilla
    • Taste
Ui, interesting start, powerful with chilli and white pepper he opens, then comes a level of low vanilla and nutmeg, then it goes into the apricot of the nose, flowers, some grapefruit and peach ice
    • Finish
Some heather meadow here, the nutmeg still, honey and light malt, apricot with shell, medium to long

  2. FernetBranco scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

Fantastic malt, very sweet and full bodied. Maybe one of the best I've ever tasted...

    SMWS Tasting Notes
    Colour: Strawberry reflected straw
    Flavour: Young & spritely

The nose combined patisseries and ice-cream parlours –
ice-cream, pear Belle Helene, orange sorbet – glazed tarts, candied angelica,
lemon zest, strawberries and cream – but also Danish oil on wood, agave tequila
and triple sec. The juicy palate was sweetly delicious – red fruits, blood
orange, Peach Melba and apricots in syrup, but with a cheeky kick of pepper,
cinnamon and clove. The reduced nose was more ‘orangey’ (orange oil, orange
blossom, chocolate orange creams) but also held kirsch, honeycomb and heather
and lily in a leather-upholstered car. The reduced palate – custard creams and
Greek yoghurt with apricot pieces. The distillery rhymes with ‘orangey’.

Drinking Tip: Imagine driving through Seville with Heather
and Lily in a 1960's Jaguar

  4. AlecM scored this whisky 92 points Expert Senior

Ice cream, orange oil and orange cream. Creaminess continued into the taste but also got lightly stewed fruits (pears, peaches, apricots) in syrup. Finish was long and creamy with scent of orange-oil creeping back in at the end. Delicious whisky.
