Perfumy & Soapy drifts thinly Brandy chocolate Satay with lettering is also wrapped in chocolate Red wine sauce Rich sherry citrus misty wet forest Light and mineral blini
Want to be smoky? It seems like a shredded sherry barrel piece of wood? Well, if you have a nice smell, the result is OK
The body is also thick and the quality is almost as good as barrel. Mint tablet Appears personality commensurate with frequency and competes with existing sherry
Sherry Woody with sweet bitterness Mainly it, citrus flavor Mineral Briny
I thought JURA was the best bourbon barrel, but Sherry isn't bad either!

Wow. What a weird dram! Lovely nose. Soapy and perfume in the taste and finish is never good!! But I have to say that tasting something like this is still important to broaden your view on whisky. Slainte.
    • Nose
Sherry. Fruity. Peach. Rubber. Wt dog. Cardamom. Marzipane. A tad chemical. Camphor. With water chocolate, apricots, orange. Nutty.
    • Taste
Soapy, Bitter oranges. Perfume. Spicy. Chemical
    • Finish
Soap and perfume lingers alllllllllll the way. And yes, that is not a good thing!! Hints of red berries. Bitter oranges again. Spicy. Nutty. Chocolate. Oak influence..

Dangerous thing. I personally like it very much, thank you Helgo! In terms of sales, the train may already have run its course, but if you're still stumbling over a bottle and standing on typical old sherry whisky, you better think twice, this is a freak.
    • Nose
strange ... first dry herbs, marjoram, thyme, savory, and there is Thuringian crackers, smoked (sounds funny, but is so), not too spicy / alcoholic, but still gets some water: now sweet, creamy, orange jelly , Milk chocolate, mild-spicy, the herbs are almost gone, but the slight smoke is still there
    • Taste
a lot of milk chocolate, pepper, salt ... and yes - soap, turned off!
      Soap, chocolate, lavender, tart herbs
    • Finish
long, first chocolate, then pepper, and then again strong soap and some smoked sausage with marjoram

A very successful Jura, which has not taken too much oak after 35 years and still has its own Jurassic character.

Nose: creamy, gentle nose! Frothy milk with lots of vanilla, green apple, lime, some leather, cardboard, salt and lactic acid, mineral traces and hints of grapefruit.
Taste: Soft, salty and undrinkable from the second second. Pepper, salt and a ton of mint are covered with a truckload of soap, perfume and sulfur and blown away.
Finish: A perfumed soapy water - just underground. Spicy mint tips and some dry wood with traces of green fruit fail miserably.
Comment: Krass ... we have never had such a terrible thing in the glass - as if you were biting into a piece of curd soap !!
    31 points (nose: 91 / taste: 1 / finish: 1)

Excellent stuff. Very fine nose of old wood, very fine and sweet. Fruits and grass. The palate goes on with this aromas. Cannot imagine, that this thing was 35y in a first fill sherry. Maybe a mistake. More a second fill sherry cask. The sherry keeps very subtle. Loads of funny aromas on the palate and very long finish. From my opinion a very well balanced old Jura with some cool twists on the palate. Great thing!

Very weird whisky. Tar, wood, oil on the nose. The palate has got a strange sweatness. It`s citrus with flowers and even some soap/ perfume with spices like nutmeg. Although it`s different, this Jura has too many faults.
