The first contact with this whisky for its aroma was very nice, lots of fruit, sweetness, honey and delicate oak. Unfortunately, what was encouraging about the aroma, the taste and finish were only average. The fruit was relegated to the background, bitterness and spiciness began to dominate. One small plus is that the alcohol is completely imperceptible. Unfortunately, after the distillate, which was aged for over 20 years in the barrel, I expected something more than what I got.
delicate, volatile, sherry, raisins, nuts, honey, orange peel, apple compote, delicate oak
sweet, oily, slightly spicy, biting tongue, oak, smoke in the distance
long, medium-pleasant, quite sweet, ripe cherries, slightly bitter end, warming, barrel oak with a hint of cough syrup
