    Blind sample 2oz

N: Peaches and cream yogurt, wax, it’s got a Softness to it like butterscotch, some apple, vanilla, toast, salted crackers and a dash of cardamom. (Feels clynelishy...)

P: More apple, peaches on toast, baking spice, honey, cinnamon, a little floral or herbal (reminds me a little of glentauchers)

F: Wood spice, spice and White pepper, touch of mint. Short-ish finish.

Guess: Compass Box Enlightenment 46%. (Never tried it, but all the components and abv would make sense)

    Reveal: glenlivet 27 omc 50%

Thoughts: This one confused the hell out of me. I drank it over 3 different occasions and had a different experience every time. It has some floral elements, some citrus, apple, peach, a creamy waxiness(clynelish?). It’s not bold or in your face, it doesn’t seem old, or young...so it has the ingredients for me to guess a blend. Could be totally wrong, but I cannot discern any particular distillery character as super dominant (other than the waxiness) The abv doesn’t feel high. My thinking is that if it were a IB of whatever you would think the abv would be quite high - and it doesn’t feel like it. It also doesn’t seem super old, but it does feel balanced. So that’s what makes me guess the way I did.

Cheers and thanks for the sample!
