- SMWS Tasting Notes: Straw-coloured spirit from an American bourbon cask. An initial sharpness quickly fades to reveal an extremely complex nose: dump straw, leather fruit and soft fruits, mainly apricots. Water augments both fruit and leather and here is an odour of lychees. The taste is astonishingly powerful, given the nose: honey-sweet becoming savory. The finish very dry, but fruity withal.
