This is an uncomplicated but nice dram with a fresh and sweet character. A nice example of a speyside whisky. There is some balance between the sweet and fruity flavours although it tends to lean to the sugary side of things.
All in all a simple but pleasant whisky.
    • Nose
A fresh, fruity and sweet whisky with aromas of lemon zest, green apple, boiled sweets, icing sugar, ginger, malt, grains, hay, subtle berries, stale tones, dusty tones, pear, kiwi, hint of greengage lemonade, pineapple, vanilla, acacia honey and a hint of oak.
    • Taste
A sweet, fruity, spicy and powerful whisky with aromas of candy floss, pepper, chili, grape seeds, walnuts, tannins, ginger, cane sugar, boiled sweets, floral tones, vanilla, malt, acacia honey, hint of fudge, lemon zest, gooseberries, overripe yellow plums, aniseeds and dry & spicy oak.
    • Finish
A medium long and drying finish with aromas of white pepper, tannins, grape seeds, grape skins, citrus, icing sugar and spicy oak.
