TASTING NOTE (lmdw): Color: bright gold. Nose: intense, complex, concentrated. Its medicinal character (balm, camphor) perfectly accompanies ripe fruit (pear, peach). It evolves on spices (pepper, cinnamon, ginger), cut hay and rosemary. Liquorice and fresh tobacco punctuate its aromatic palette. Palate: rich, unctuous, balanced. At first, citrus (lemon, grapefruit) impose a time, citrus (lemon, grapefruit) impose a tempo built on the bitter. As it goes, it gains in softness and serenity. Malted barley and exotic fruits (pineapple, persimmon) are gradually appearing. Final: long, tense. Fresh tobacco and dark chocolate highlight its maturity. The bitters gave way to juicy and sweet fruits (apple, pear). It becomes more and more honeyed (acacia). The retro-olfaction is intensely fruity and very balanced. The empty glass is slightly salty.
