Either you like it or not - if you like Grand Marnier or Cointreau but you think these are a bit too sweet then you will like it
    • Nose
Really fresh orange, actually more like orange peel oil, which is the essential oil and the oriental spices, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pepper - I like it
    • Taste
Very oily and creamy, citrus fruits galore, really just a subtle sweetness that it is not too dry - like a freshly squeezed orange juice but not sweetened
    • Finish
Medium long, bitter orange, little more spices

  2. Dominic did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    • Nose
Pim's cake, orange, blood orange, tropical shower cream (no cocos), pineapple.
    • Taste
orange, pink grapefruit, blueberries, ripe raspberries.
    • Finish
Tastes like a nice aperitif gin.

Eyes: golden smell. Nose: citrus syrup, blood orange, grapefruit, candied lemon, red grapefruit juice. Palate: medium sweetness, not high bitterness, slightly sour. Citrus juice, orange juice, grapefruit, bergamot, unexpectedly delicious. Final rhyme Finish: syrup, wood, orange peel, bitter essence,
    Body: light

This is clearly not made for me. If you like something like Cointreau maybe you can give this a shot, or maybe a good mixologist can find a use for this.

    • Nose
Oranges, oranges, oranges. Some orangejuice that’s been left in the glass for just a tad too long, turning slightly sour. In the back, there’s a hint of those cloves and some soapiness. Oh, and there’s some orange notes in there too
    • Taste
Well…it’s a nice continuation from the nose as the first thing we get are oranges. Secondly there’s oranges. The soapy note remains and the cloves have made room for a slight cinnamon note.
    • Finish
You’ve made it this far, you can probably guess what’s in the finish. (Spoiler: oranges) It’s quite a short one.

I cannot call this drink a whisky but rather a whisky-based liquor. The nose is pleasant but very monotone - oranges and oranges and it's hard to see other notes behind them. The taste is really soapy (like if I had rinsed my mouth with orange Fairy detergent), with obvious oak influence. Orangerie probably might be a good cocktail base but definitely not a dram to enjoy by itself (at least for me).
    • Nose
Oranges, oranges, oranges, green apple, some honey (haha, orange blossom noney?) notes
    • Taste
Sweet, slightly oaky and peppery, orange soap (or Fairy?), touch of vanilla
    • Finish
Medium-long, sweet, soapy, oaky with hint of clove

It's not a complex spirit, but it is what it is. It made some pretty lackluster cocktails, unfortunately.
    • Nose
Fresh, aromatic. Orange, spice, brewed tea.
    • Taste
Syrupy. Very similar to the nose. More oranges, orange peel, and chocolate.
    • Finish
      Medium. Bitter orange peel.

    N-
Fresh and awakening, seductive freshly squeeze orange juice without the
overly sugar notes that are always presents on liqueur. Then peels,
green apples and strawberry. Hints of smoked spices, earthy and some
    heats.

P- Dry and light on palate, tart fruits and citrus peels, some oak and herbs.

F- Medium-long, fine orange fragrant and bitter.
