    Apricot
Nikka has quite a few blends on the market, one more easily obtainable than the other. But this one is easily found and quite affordable. Around 30 to 40 EUR in my neck of the woods. It's a blend that contains both Yoichi and Miyagikyo single malt, as well as grain whisky also produced by Nikka. Remember: Japanese blends are always created in-house, as they do not swaps casks between different producers.
The nose is very sweet and fruity. Think apples, pears, apricots and some citrus fruit, but even some coconut and vanilla. You can smell the malt. A hint of slightly burnt caramel and something floral complete the picture. This is actually quite nice.
I get the apricots on the palate as well, but - contrary to the nose - I also notice a slight development of smoke, albeit very discreet. Yes, some peated malt was undoubtedly used here. Mandarin. Becomes slightly dry towards the end. Something that reminds me of chocolate.
Medium long finish, but rather dry, despite the fact that it remains sweet.
Believe it or not, I actually prefer this one to the Nikka All Malt. Lovely Japanese aperitif.

Sweetness "bourbonnée" and fresh fruits in the delicacy. Vanilla and caramel are installed. A note of lime comes for a ride and then goes away. On the palate, vanilla predominates in the first sip. The final has some tannins not tip top, witnesses of barrels a little too worn perhaps. The second sip surprises because it is now the spices that dominate and still these tannins. I'm almost grimacing. For the following sips, it is vanilla and caramel that accompany us with an honest texture despite the reduction too perceptible. Well ! It has often been said that Japanese whiskey settles quickly and no longer evolves. This one really baffled me by its changing and somewhat elusive side - at least in the beginning. Overall, I find it well done. I had a priori negative on the product.

    Enthusiasm 3/5

Oh, it smells delicious, nice and mild and floral, slightly fruity vanilla sweetness, but then very thin. Rather, tap a maximum of 45%. I still have pears

Extremely mild, hardly any alcohol, very thin, few flavors, tap the Nikka Blend.
    • Finish

      Almost no exit

My first Japanese, well-made, tasty and uncomplicated blend, easy drinkable. Very nice nose, the rest then falls off a bit.
Already had much more colorless and grain-emphasized blends - this is one of the clearly better ones and comes with its fresh, fruity floral mutatis mutandis to malted blends like monkey shoulder or single malts like Cardhu 12yo, but at a slightly higher price.
    • Nose

very fruity-floral with vanilla and honey. Soft, pleasant, fresh, no smoke
    • Taste
      82 82
mild and mellow with a lot of fruit, later becoming slightly spicy and bitter
    • Finish
      79 79
Here, the grain portion presents itself unfavorably: short to just medium length, now clearer spices and alcohol notes, less impressive

Smooth and intensely fruity, available only in Europe.
    • Nose
Caramel, pear, honey, lime, toffee, heather
    • Taste
      Honey, lemongrass, cocoa, hay, oak
    • Finish
      Medium-long, sweet and fruity

Smell - joooooo, drink - nooo ... If it tasted as good as it smelled, the 25 € would be a good investment, but for the taste's also a 12 € Blend.
    • Nose
surprisingly fruity and defines for so'nen quite cheap blend (so not only so malt-caramel-sweet-tasting-stop-after-whiskey) - apple, lemon, pear, fresh orange, a little coconut, vanilla kipper, white chocolate - though everything on a cozy dazzling level, no wow moment, but still easily recognizable
    • Taste
not as good as the nose, to caramel / toffee / wood is first a nice pear note, but then quite fast (3s) sprittig-snappy cheap brandy and you want to have it out of his mouth
    • Finish
For a long time, the sprightly brandy turns into bitterness, then there is some milk chocolate
(officially: "Pure and fresh with cereals and fruits." - What did the copywriter drink?)

Almond and vanilla in a very light peat. I detect an ounce of hazelnut. The finish is strong, slightly sweet, barely sparkling. It is a pleasant whiskey in the mouth, a little sweet, however.

What do you want to expect. A classic blend.
    • Nose
      Weak, barely audible, vanilla
    • Taste
      Vanilla, lemon
    • Finish
Lemon, a little honey and vanilla on a short finish.

Nice blend, but the Whiskey From The Barrel is better for me.
    • Nose
Grain, unripe peach, vanilla, coconut milk, oak
    • Taste
Citruses, tangerine, tannic oak and bergamot oil
    • Finish
      Medium length, sour, fruity
