    • Nose
      Fruits & honey
    • Taste
      Oily, the oak becomes clearer
    • Finish
Oak, wax and fruit - everything interlocks

delicately fruity with notes of mandarins, passion fruit, green banana. Initially delicate and slightly tart oak, somewhat spicy. The oak notes change to fine, old and dry, spices and herbs join in.
    • Taste
      92 92
warm, delicately fruity, finest woods / oak notes, delicate fruitiness and sweetness, boiled oranges, passion fruit, a hint of barrel, now also here spices, a bit herbaceous. Soapy? Very consistent and tasty.

Initially with fine notes of different woods, then delicately fruity and slightly sweet, spices, herbs. Fading out softly. Really tasty. Finely matured and aged.

No way this is 40 years old - it's still so fresh and intense! Another great Caper fruit bomb from 1972. Fantastic!
    • Nose
Intense, fruity, honey comb, overripe bananas, passion fruit, hints of vanilla, creme brulee, cooked oranges - superb!
    • Taste
Fresh, punchy, oily, fruity, tons of citrus fruits and tropical fruits, very fine wood notes, subtle sweetness - excellent!
    • Finish
Long and warm, still fruity, not drying

    A grand
whisky. The nose especially is incredibly good. What a choice! We Belgians rightfully consider ourselves
lucky. It sold out in a couple of hours.
    • Nose
      What a
grand nose! Honeysweet from both European and exotic fruit. Silky soft and
delicious! Fresh on yellow apples, gooseberries, a basket full of mandarins and
lemons, but also pineapple, kiwi, green banana and quince. Dark honey, but not
too much. Not a trace of oak. Fruity is the keyword here. Very soft on the spices. A slight metallic
touch, as from silver polish, gives it a nice depth.
    • Taste
arrives graciously on the tongue, not bite but still prickling. Somewhat more spicy now. Ginger and
      liquorice. The cask
did its job, without trying to dominate the spirit. Again very fruity, but a
wonderful bitterness is working (and succeeding) to give it the perfect
balance. I do not want to add any water to this.
    • Finish
finish could have been somewhat longer, but it does not detract from the fun. Slightly bitter death.
