    • Nose
      Colour:
      So orange-gold

      Nose:
Starts with wax and a dry wood note. A pleasant pinch of salt is added. The colleague smells partly sweet and light fruity and partly I find it mineral. For me it has something like peach with lime dust. Add some marzipan. I'll leave that little bit ...
With a little time in the glass, the colleague looks thickened. Now more apricots and gooseberries. In addition a cooling peppermint note. Oranges and always there, the mineral. Yeast dough is still coming.
    • Taste
Spicy start. Immediately peppery and this slight saltiness again. Caramel and milk chocolate. Tough honey and a few herbal herbs. The taste of plums and yeast dough are better. Some grain accompanies the story '. Some bitter almonds and again the orange. More like orange liqueur. In addition, subtle roasted aromas. In terms of taste, the mineral remains in the background and swims comfortably.
    • Finish
Rather long. Cooling peppermint and chocolate. I'm doing something with After Eight. This waxy sticks to the cheeks for a long time.

A great Clynelian, the waxy profile and the sherry aromas interweave wonderfully without the sherry becoming too sweet.
    • Nose
Sherry, citrus, wax, leather, salt, sea. wet stone. A great comnination
    • Taste
In the mouth then citrus, orange peel, some peat, dark chocolate, wax.
    • Finish
tart, dark chocolate, orange peel, salt.

  3. Mannix65 scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

    • Nose

    • Taste
Sherry, lots of spices, subtle chillies, some ripe cherry
    • Finish
      Dry, spicy, appetizing, medium long

Congratulations, this is an excellent sherry whisky - recommended! Do not expect to find any typical Clynelish aromas.
    • Nose
A cloud of sweet sherry aromas approaches my nostrils at first nosing. Simply sherry and cherries - but very tasty ones.

No there is more: Prunes and raisins, leather and a salty sea breeze in the background.

      An excellent nose!
    • Taste
Wow, tasty !!! Powerful, warming from deep inside. Although the sherry is still present we have much more spices now, pepper, chili and ginger. Notes of very alcoholic Mon Chérie.
    • Finish
Long, hot and spicy with chili.
