So I try this today from a bottling from 1991 according to what G&M has told me. Label is the same as pictured above. Bottle code is IA/BCB. Generally, it is a nice and easy drinking whisky.

      86 86
Light whiffs of chocolate, then strawberry jam, some smoke, a mix of sweet and tart citrus, touch of cinnamon, faint varsol
    • Taste
      86 86
Chocolate, strawberry jam again, some nutty flavors appearing, some mint
    • Finish
      85 85
Pepper, mint, tangy citrus, light smoke, some tannic notes

I remember years ago these bottles were quite good value and they are worth keeping a lookout for now.
    • Nose
Some sherry, shoe polish, petrol fumes (but not quite as potent) and slight grapefruit
    • Taste
Sherry is stronger and I definitely get walnut. There is a little raspberry jam and hints of blackcurrants.
    • Finish
Medium length with a slight fizziness at the end.
