If you like your whisky sweet, than this is for you. The nose is too closed to warrant a higher score, but it is a dangerously drinkable whisky, even at this strength.
    • Nose
Green apple, white grapes and some lemon. An almost beer-like quality at times, yeasty too. Finally some light chocolate. The nose feels a bit close and subdued.
    • Taste
Honey, sugar and caramel. Very sweet, almost like rum. The green fruit stays in the background, but is definitely there.
    • Finish
Fruity sweetness, lingers for a very long time.

This really is a very tastefull sweet whisky. It's tingling and mouthfilling. A very good whisky to make friends !
Although I prefer to drink it without , I added some water but nose, taste and finish are scoring a little lower.
    • Nose
Oak and lots of malt. Very intense. Floral and fresh with hints of caramel, chocolate and butter.
    • Taste
Oily and a real explosion of sweetness. Caramel and honey.
    • Finish
Very intense and very, very sweet. Medium.

I love the great sweet taste without water, but in the end the added complexity after adding water is the decider. A great malt, unfortunately only available at the distillery itself.
    • Nose
Hay/Grass, light fruit (apricot). Some faint chocolate and citrus.

With Water: More spices now, peppery. Sweetness is lesser now, but there is vanilla and sweet fruit at the end.
    • Taste
Unbelievably sweet. Caramel, burnt sugar, honey and cake icing. A vast array of sweet notes. Slightly tingly.

With Water: Still very sweet, but more room now for prickly spices. After that vanilla, honey, malt and oak. More complex.
    • Finish
A but dull at the end, but the sweet aromas stick around. Other than the sweetness not a whole lot can be found.

With Water: Slightly more interesting, sweetness combined with spice, and in the end there's not just sweetness.
