I have had some top, top draw old grains off Peatbogger and this is another one. Awesome.
When you drink stuff like this the world isn't such a bad place is it?
Normally I struggle with the nose of grain whisky, even really old stuff but this one not so much.
Smells like heaven to me and I could just leave it like that because it says it all.
Fresh paint and I love fresh paint.
Jam and cream.
That old grain and the wood notes are just superb.
This is really warming and spicy, I think the picture on the label sums it up nicely.
A nice balance between the fruit and the grain.
The spice on the arrival quickly takes a back seat and is replaced by softer tones and creamy textures.
Soft and ripe fruits just roll around the tongue.
The finish isn't a finish because he ain't finished yet.
Again lots of strawberry jam, cream and butter and it is lip-smacking good.
And it just goes on and on.
