Extending: sherry and bourbon barrels
Region: Highlands, Scotland
Nose: Surprisingly complex, salty caramel, toffee and a lot of malt. Behind it some papaya and mango, apple and peach. In addition, honey melon and a spicy rice pudding with cinnamon.
Palate: Sweet and slightly bitter, grapefruit, lemon cake, vanilla and toffee, bitter caramel and a hint of oak. In addition, a trace of cocoa butter.
Finish: Medium to long, very fruity and dry, with blackberries and citrus fruits, cloves, pepper and some cinnamon in dark chocolate.
Conclusion: A beautiful composition, no-age statement may be like!
