In the end, this is still sunshine in a glass, summertime whisky filled with stone fruits and warm sweetness and malty goodness. Seek yourself out a dram if you can!
The nose is sunshine in a glass. Heather and hay, bright fruity... Stone fruits and fresh malt. Summer whisky; cut hay, grassy, peonies, hints of malty bitterness and some sweet apricots or dried pears. Bright and fresh!
The palate is subtle sweet. More of the sweet stone fruits come along, apricots and dried peach slices mingle with sweet malt and bright grassiness, almost hints of lowlands in it. Malty porridge and Kraft caramels.
Okay sweet and a twist of Telicherry pepper. Tea leaves and melted waxy notes, more dried stone fruits and deep notes of malty vanilla oak pudding. So tasty!
