    With water :-

The nose is much more restrained with the peat in the background

Palate still has lots of peat but the pepper is there now, the classic Talisker pepper notes mixed in with the brine

I think this is better with water because the peat swamps the profile when neat.Nice stuff
    • Nose
A big blast of peat, brine with a touch of lemon, wet hay and whipped cream.Very much like some OB Caol Ila in style
    • Taste
Peat is huge, almost overpowering in a rough way. there are some sweet creamy notes in the mix with some dryness and wafer notes. Bitter plum, plum/apple skins and a little Bakewell tart.
    • Finish
Very long indeed with the peat growing in strength with some bitterness creeping in.

Smell the fragrance Nose: The level is very good, the first smell is a big mouthful of juicy canned yellow peaches, and Talisker power comes along with it, wrapped in sand and stone waves, damp wood, roasted tobacco, condensed milk, and yogurt.

Taste Palate: tea foam, water-soluble C and honey water three in one, cigar ash and old feeling and vigor of young wood coexist, not complicated but excellent arrangement and combination, showing a variety of fusion forms, simple but not simple, deep and harmonious Full of deterrence.

Finish: Very long, deafening, as if reverberating, cigar ash, roasted fruit trees, and maltose.

Body: Medium-heavy body, grand structure, good balance, slightly spicy, strong wine power at this moment has become a wake-up call that repeatedly beats your senses, and it seems that Song Bone meets the master, painful and comfortable.

Coincidentally, it is also the first edition of OB 30 years, because I have learned a few lessons before, and I have been well prepared for the high-year Tilesker is not as good as 10 or 57 "delicious", but this is the first time in the high-year island wine Drinking the fat-like sticky feeling, when combined, how can I become an old prostitute.
    • Nose
Black pepper, white pepper, KFC's corn on the cob, pineapple and citrus candied fruit, a little cheese or dried jelly brought by the fat, the chalk stone beaten by the sea water, the magic finally has the sweetness of coffee and chocolate.
    • Taste
Some dehydrated but unsweetened tropical fruits have lost cream, sea salt, pepper, rubber, and fireworks.
    • Finish
      Medium length, brine, pepper.

Powerful, well peated and peppered 30yo.
    • Nose
Citruses, peat, hay, punch, chewing gum, honey and unripe banana.
    • Taste
Powerful, creamy and peaty. Apple, plum, raisin, milk coffee, pepper and bitter oak.
    • Finish
      Long, peaty, bittersweet.
