    blind tasting Classic Dessert Whisky, beautiful, about 50%, Speyside, for me one of the best in the calendar, 90 pts Tip: Balvenie 14-18 years
    • Nose
      Sherry, very sweet, almost like old Madeira wine, but rather discreetly in the background. Sweet non-fruity notes dominate: marzipan, vanilla crisp, caramelized nuts
    • Taste
      Tingling tongue, a lot of sweet vanilla, some fruit, sweet apple, few bitter oak notes
    • Finish
      Departure very long and sweet

    • Nose
      full and sweet, herbs and spices, oranges, berries, sour, fruity. In the background something dirty.
    • Taste
      Creamy, oily, sweet, nice onset, spice, wood, chocolate, coffee.
    • Finish
      long, fruity, oak, cocoa.

    Could have liked to have a little more percent, otherwise very good, 88 points!

    • Nose
      Raspberries, blueberries, fruit dwarfs, toast bread, a little flowery, red chewing gum from the vending machine, sugar sweet, artificial leather, foam ball, sourdough
    • Taste
      very spicy, nutmeg, while herb-sweet, the fruits completely disappear, clearly oak, good balance
    • Finish
      fresh, peppermint, Fishermans friends (cherry), a bit like Odol mouthwash, soft licorice, with a good length

    A rather unspectacular malt for me, although he somehow owns that certain something. The fruity note of the nose is hardly reflected in the taste and finish again. The complete enjoyment is carried by chocolate and tart wood.
    • Nose
      Blind tasting: intense chocolate aroma rises immediately in the nose. Dark berries play with fruity oranges and leave a fruity sherry aroma. The alcohol is pleasantly integrated, but over time becomes more and more sprittiger. The fruity nose slowly transforms into an aroma of overripe bananas and other fruits.
    • Taste
      The first sip is dominated by spicy wood, fruity berries sparkle before subtle sharpness becomes more intense. A hint of chocolate is whitewashed with coffee and chilli. Now the heat heats neat the palate, a bitter bitter walnut note finishes the taste.
    • Finish
      With a pleasant but glowing sharpness, the finish begins. Again spicy wood is present, a touch of grapefruit stands out from the wood. Fine tart with a fruity note ends the medium-long finish.
