    (Tasted blind)
    APPEARANCE: Deep/dark golden colour.
NOSE: Some dried yellow fruits and wood. Orchard fruits. Bourbon notes but also some other dried and (hints of) fresh fruits. Vanilla in the background. Bourbon matured with a wine cask finish? (89p)
TASTE: The arrival is a bit sharp and slightly nippy. On the mid palate rich, some oiliness but quite a bit of wood. (86p) With time it becomes fruitier and less woody (87p)
FINISH: Woody. Black pepper. (80-82p) With time; fruitier. (85p)
OVERALL: Nose much better than taste. Total score 85 points. With sufficient time; 87 points.

Must like lovers of brandy. Be sure to let stand.
Nose: soft, not very expressive ... mostly dried plums, vanilla and candy.
    Taste: prunes, salt, skin.
    Aftertaste: pleasant, long enough.
As for me, it is greatly reduced, so I lost the potential.

Although the whisky has some shortcomings in the balance, it seems overall harmonious and interesting. Especially the nose makes some interesting changes here.
    • Nose
Instantly very spicy-looking, sweaty Sherrynoten. After a while, various fruity notes come on, salted fruit salad with soy sauce, a bit slanted. I can not discover earthy mineral notes, but a touch of sulfur. Correction, very late come also clear minerals. Higher temperature makes the whole thing more acidic, now really reminds of champagne punch. Much sweeter too.
    • Taste
Sweet notes of dark honey, which are accompanied from the beginning herbichichig. Acid is barely noticeable here. A certain sharpness presses with the alcohol clearly on the taste buds. Towards the back it dries increasingly, the oak becomes more powerful, here comes then also some barrel acid added.
    • Finish
Not too long after the tannins fade, it sounds sweet and nutty over the honey.

Glengoyne 1997/2012 14yo OB 70cl 45.3% vol. Finished in Chateau Palmer Casks 2400 btls. Three Rivers It is still early stage battle, so I tried a little chopstick break and drunk Glengoyne 1997! Wine cask is a beautiful color for me.Nose: Unexpectedly, a discreet syrup, honey that does not seem to be about Glengoyne springs up Attack: unexpectedly smooth. Not strength is nothing.A subtle accent with subtle dried persimmons. The comfort of disappearing of the bad memories of New Year 's dried persimmon .. Body: Chateau Palmer Casks is a wonderful coating I like to have no bitter wheat bitterness. It seems like Glen goyne taste with no nativity at all.It is like taste which made the apricot of Mukumu Munmun to the finest tea and syrup. The number of Glen goyne's The trauma disappears. The impression of bad nuts of Glen goyne which I have ever gotten is nothing as it is as it is.It is the return of the berry type to return by Fiinish seems to be a habit? It was pretty interesting Glengoyne. That such unexpectedness I love when drinking Whisky. https://whisky2010.usukeba.com/u/whisky2010/1fyhars8k2azgr

The color goes in the direction of Rose. The nose is caressed by honey notes and a fresh fruit cocktail. There are apricots, melons and bananas. But also toffee and vanilla are there. The taste is difficult to grasp: there is an irritating sharpness with exotic fruits that fight for attention with slightly bitter notes and wood. But somehow none of the notes is really to focus. The short finish is dry and leaves a slight bitter touch.
There are many flavors in this whisky, but somehow not matched.

    • Nose
Mineral notes reminiscent of soil odor and earth. I think that's the influence of the wine barrel. Raisins and grapes are in the foreground followed by apricots, apples and oranges. Overall, very fruity.
    • Taste
Very spicy and fruity. Wine aromas, bitter orange and citrus notes followed by ginger and dark chocolate. Slightly dry at the end.
    • Finish
Medium long and slightly dry with a touch of honey sweetness.

    • Nose
      Aromas of apricots, cream, soda,
apple pie, wine gums, fresh ginger and earthy tones
    • Taste
On the palate open showing kaneelstikjes, gingerbread and bitter orange
    • Finish
Aftertaste of ginger beer with honeycomb and lemon
