Whisky Reviews for Bunnahabhain 1990 JCWS

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 89.14 points

  1. pegu did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    Not what we would have
expected from a 21yo 1st fill sherry butt – surprisingly smooth and
    very good balanced , excellent
    • Nose
Only a little bit of oak
(not comparable to the 2nd one), sweet dried fruits (figs, raisins …),
      caramelized apples, spicy, honey
    • Taste
      Sweet (again these dried
figs, raisins, apples) , rock candy, spicy but still very smooth
    • Finish
      long and very warming

  2. Malt Hans scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Fruity and spicy aroma, raisins, figs, cinnamon, pepper, mint, floral honey. Vanilla sweet taste, eucalyptus, tannins, pepper, grapefruit marmalade, cardamom, prunes and oak. Long, fruity and spicy end.
