We do not want to become a malt snob, do we? Never lose appreciation of a simple but honest classic! Known as 'the honey malt', Dalwhinnie 15 is a great choice for beginners to set out on their whisky journey. Notes of heather, green pears and barley sugar complement the honeyed aroma. After a sweet, rich and full-bodied arrival, spices build up quickly with a mildly dry and bitter edge, but well-measured. The aftertaste is gentle, citric and wood-driven with hints of cinnamon and apple juice. A characterful Highlander which should not be overlooked!

Tasty, harmonious, a beautiful honey malt. Unjustly completely underestimated standard - recommended.
    • Nose
sweet and beguiling, lots of honey, orange blossom, apples, pears, toffee, delicate smoke and summer herb garden, meadow flowers, daisies and white clover, a touch of jasmine, a splash of lemon, vanilla, white chocolate, cinnamon, fresh wood, hay
    • Taste
silky-watery, delicately sweet, a lot of honey, toffee, thick caramel sauce, roasted hazelnuts, walnuts, tobiano honey and almonds, orange blossom water, apples, lemon, whole milk chocolate, freshly toasted bread, ginger, light cinnamon, one drop of orange oil; minimal alcoholic, a touch too watery, malty
    • Finish
short, honey, toffee, orange blossom and Toblerone ... and a ticking smoke

The perfect highland honey water, as if coming to the flower fields between the valleys.
A slightly light body, but with a rich honey aroma, it is simply addicting to me.
A big thank you to Dalwhinnie Distillery for being able to taste such a delicious whisky at this price.
I hope this taste will never change and be passed down to future generations!
The total taste is 83 points, and the price adds 2 points for a total of 85 points.

So I like it very much, my guess:
Alk ~ max. 46%, about 2/3 bourbon barrel, 1/3 sherry barrel, age around 17 years?

N: We’ve lot’s on the nose. Light-fresh, light green fruits with a complex mix of subtle yet tight oily/garage/farmy tones. I also pick out a light yeasty meatiness, various fusty honey and sweaty men’s clothes.
T: Thin, and at first oily [and sulphury?], before becoming nutty then stretching out with manuka honey.
F: A light humming on barley sugar.

C: I’ve reviewed and enjoyed this classic malt again [and again] since this tasting [WLP84]. It’s finally time to admit I like Dalwhinnie 15yo.

Although I consider this malt to be relatively thin and watery at first, it gains in volume and balance over time. The interplay between sweetness, fruit and harsh wood tones in combination with smoke and citrus fruits I find very successful, even after many years I can understand again why this Dalwhinnie has paved the way to the whisky connoisseur. A great standard and a tasty malt in between ...

    21/22/22/21 (86P)
    • Nose
Bright and clear amber glitters in the glass, on the glass wall sticks a syrupy streak from which to solve a variety of long and oily "legs". Creamy roasted flavors and hazelnuts rise, caramel and honey merge together, apples and mandarins are in the air. Minimal hints of smoke dissolve from the sweet and creamy blend of fruit and honey, in addition to the mandarins and oranges are now increasingly pears and creamy toffee. The alcohol is mild and gently integrated, the nose is getting creamier and sweeter ...
    • Taste
Relatively gentle and mild, the first sip flows over the tongue. Spicy woody tones are immediately mixed with creamy caramel and toffee, forest honey and hints of milk chocolate sparkle briefly before an increasingly bitter aroma sets in the palate. Old whale and hazelnuts stick to the palate, subtle sharpness envelops the tongue while slightly charred logs dissolve smoke and tart wood elements. Still stick the oily streaks and thick "legs" on the glass wall, I get an appetite for the second sip. Slightly watery and thin, the Dalwhinnie drips off the tongue after the second sip, while salty and peppery wood marks burn on the tip of the tongue. Once again, burned wood and toasted cereals, meadow herbs and citrus fruits dissolve from the bitter woody note, tart grapefruit massively stimulates my salivation.
    • Finish
Peppery and wooden sharpness still sticks between tongue and palate, lightly smoky, roasted hazelnuts and pieces of wood come to mind again. Abrasion of orange peel and grapefruit exude her tart aroma, honey and a subtle hint of smoke create a nice interplay between sweetness and bitter wood aromas. The creamy and slightly smoky nut flavors stay relatively long on the palate, again discreetly tart and spicy wood tones appear in the finish.

A 15 year old with 43% should be much softer. In a blind tasting I would bet to drink somethink younger than 10 years.
I played around with water but it seems to be the "character" of the Destillerie.
80 points is putting this in the same League with a well balanced beginner malt like Highland Park 12, representing a clear misjudgement.
I would rather drink a Ballantines than this waste of good barrels.

A good malt with a beautiful profile which is worth your time. The presentation weakens this already gentle dram. Always happy to have a Dalwhinnie, and glad to see many here seem to agree!
    • Nose

A soft, floral, sulphury profile. Lots of honey and yellow flowers, juicy, almost overripe green apple, a hint of banana. A fascinating coumarin / tonka bean / hay note. It’s very subdued, but what a beautiful nose.
    • Taste
      83 83
Again very soft, with a honeyed sweetness throughout and a curious green / sour grain note in the development. Barley sugars, apple, the faintest hint of orange. Soft spices. Hint of nuttiness.
    • Finish
      82 82
Medium length. Some apple again, and honey - but as expected it is the weakest part of this malt. Chill-filtering a gentle spirit at low ABV will do that. But I’m happy to have another sip!

Stays relatively reliable over the years, but clearly you will not find any striking personality in this classic, middle-of-the-road malt. It is very malty, very cereal-forward, with a touch of wet sand ; mouth presence is decent, leaving a dry flour-like impression. Does the job.

Pleasant and relatively light in aroma and taste. Not very complex and expressive. In my opinion, the relationship between the price called up and what the whisky offers is not quite right here. Personally, I would rather go for the Glenfiddich 12 or the Glenlivet 15 French Oak Reserve.

Light and fragrant on the nose. Citrus fruits and pineapple, guava and mango. On the palette, peppery and aromatic, hints only of caramel, apple and pear. The finish is long, again citrusy and fragrant. Great dram to start off the evening and a solid example to introduce to newcomers to quality single malts.

Dalwhinnie 15 yo (43%). 20cl bottle consumed Dec 2018. Aroma is peach mango pear apricot - one of the fruitiest I've encountered. Taste is really smooth spiced peat, subtle fruit esters, light wood-perfume without getting too vanilla. All very subtle and refined but full flavoured with some complexity. A masterclass in subtlety and refinement. Great whisky at a great price. Suits me. (3.7/88)

    Category: Single Malt
Manufacturer and bottler: Dalwhinnie Distillery (Diageo)
    Series: Classic Malts of Scotland
    Region: Highlands
    Fortress: 43%
    Volume: 750 ml
    Bottling date: 07/30/2019
    Exposure: 15 years
    Filtration: yes
    Dye: present

Nose. A mix of yellow apples, pears and apricots, flower honey, meadow herbs and flowers, malty theme of baking (fresh white bread), sourness of natural lemonade, creamy caramel sweets, a little smoke like from a baked potato or a long-extinct match, a little withered foliage, vanilla , a little peppery. Just a pleasant, harmonious, fresh, pure bourbon-aged aroma without any sharp corners, but also without wonderful discoveries.

Taste. Sweet fruit-honey-caramel nectar with a bright creamy texture interspersed with sour citrus fruits, spicy pepper and ginger with very little traces of smokiness, bakedness on the palate. Bright, expressive, intense, summer-like “warm” taste, but again classic, without frills (well, maybe this is not bad, we still have a representative of the Classic Malts line here, and not something else there) . The consistency of whisky is basically normal, but, of course, I would like it to be more oily, viscous. To do this, you need to increase the degree, but perhaps then all its lightness will go away and it will become less understandable and accessible. I don't know, I just expressed my opinion. After all, no one has canceled our “Wishlist”, as well as the ability of the manufacturer not to take them into account in his technological process.

Aftertaste. Medium, dryish, not too expressive. Honey, citrus fruits, malt, unexpectedly unripe bananas, peppers.

Dalwhinnie 15 is definitely an interesting whisky. Light, pleasant, delicate. But, it is clearly created for casual consumption without searching for any depths of taste and aroma. It shows us well the typical features of ex-bourbon aging, but does not fully reveal its possibilities. And in this regard, he has a competitor on the Russian market in the same price range and similar in age and type of aging, moreover, from the same Diageo "stable" - Clynelish 14 YO, which, for me personally, in almost everything except ease of drinking and a slight hint of smoky "does" Dalwhinnie. At the same time, they cost the same for us. By and large, the tested whiskys for me are divided into 2 camps: those that I would gladly “repeat” and those that I drank, appreciated and forgot, to which there is no particular desire to return. I’ll take Dalwhinnie to the first camp, and if I came across it at a price of, say, 3,000 rubles, I would gladly take it on a regular basis, otherwise, when Klinelish constantly comes across 4 k, and Dalwhinni is offered 5 k - here let go.

For a long time I thought about what rating to put, I decided to move away from snobbery and become generous with 84 points out of 100, after all, there really isn’t much whisky that “goes” so easily (here and the bottle that quickly emptied me hints at this).

Proabably one of the worst official 15 yo single malts... but if you consider the price and the fact that it's at least 43% abv. and has no real off notes and is readily available at a very fair price things fall into perspective. You get what you pay for. Still a Talisker 10 at roughly the same price beats it any days, if you like the distinct Talisker character that is. :-)

Quite fruity, I would say above average. A very light smoke can be found, but only relatively at the beginning. It flies quickly. Despite the age, a sweet and fresh meadow and other bright fruits. If you give it a little time, the age comes to the fore.

Colour: Also gold, slightly richer and murkier than #3 [C]

N: More murky than the previous three. Hard to see what that indicates initially.
N take 2: After 10 minutes it’s starting to wake up a little so maybe it’s got more age than I’d first anticipated. There certainly appears to be a patient oaky underbelly. It’s all a touch quirky but that dissipates, leading to a more mineral quality. My radar is back to Scotch single malt, Speyside or Highlands, maybe sherry and bourbon cask maturation?
T: Ok, we are around the 12-16 age bracket [maybe even 18 if the casks say, are 2nd or 3rd fill]. It speaks of age though it’s the barley spirit that steers, the oak a fine navigator.
F: Becomes more murky malty/oaky with only a touch of dunnage action to the tail.
C: I’m lost as to what it is. Highland Park perhaps? I think this one will haunt me. Provisionally scores around 85 tops.

    ROUND 2
I piece together a summary of my guess-work:
We are in the 12-16 age bracket [maybe even 18 if the casks are 3rd fill]. My guesses ranged from old Highland Park to Springbank with hints of Balvenie in-between. Frankly I’m puzzled by this one. I’m going to kick myself. [85]

    ROUND 3
There’s a 25yo in this bunch and this is certainly displaying plenty of maturity. Again, the nose is quiet yet with a soft whispering leathery story to tell certainly. The palate [if short] tells of age as does the dusty [if not that dunnage-y] finish. Then there are those unmistakable oaky sugars at the tail which tell of age more than the previous signs. Given I’ve mistaken the Glenalba as a NAS and #5 as a 10yo, I’m committed to calling this a soft 25yo. Wrong again! Then this must be a 15yo then. I did say between 12-16 in the beginning!

REVEALED: What can I say? I never used to like the Dalwhinnie, yet the last 3 times I’ve had it [the last 2 blind], I’ve enjoyed it.
C: I’m pleased i initially had this down at 12-16 years but frustrated I failed to spot the main [and, I want to say recognisable, but in the circumstances] character trait – soft-aged bitter/sour lemon-y malt. Forget the Winter’s Gold that is/was often priced higher than the 15yo.

    Final score: 84 points

A decent whisky, which I like in the nose much better than in the mouth. The announced light smoke flavors I can not find. Overall, a really pleasant drop, with a good PLV.
    • Nose
Sweet, overripe fruits with a slight musty note, but disappears quickly. For this comes malt cereals and nutty flavors emerge. After a while in the glass I find clear mirabelle notes.
    • Taste
Spicy oak notes make the beginning. It could also be the heather herbs, which are announced by the manufacturer. It is followed by lightly burnt candy, backed by a slightly peppery spiciness. Slowly also the malt and the early harvest appear, but less clearly, than in the nose.
    • Finish
The reverberation lasts relatively long. Mainly the burnt caramel and the sharpness, if only slightly, hold up.

Short comparison. Current version (WID: 301) and an old version from the 1980s (WID: 15007)

The current version is slightly fresher and more sparkling in the nose. The older version is more set and has more depth. This is probably also something of the "Old Bottle Flavor". Also interesting is the wax note from the old version. There is no trace of this in the current version.
The impression of the nose continues in the mouth. I'll just say it like this. The current version is a little louder and cheekier and the old version is quieter and more confident. But the old bottling would probably have done a few percent more well.

Overall, I like the older version better.

But the current Dalwhinnie is a solid standard.

Had the price never suspected what I expected here. Really a good whisky. He looks mature and balanced. Sweet, but still fresh. Afterwards the malty comes through again and again. Perfect for a nice summer evening.
    Absolutely convinced me.
    • Nose
Sweet - heather - herbs - here is a tropical fruitiness (I would say an overripe honeydew melon)
I could smell it for hours. So balanced. The melon only ever tips over and is not permanent. Super interesting.

A beautiful Highlander, not only for "beginners", but also for Maltheads who like it off and on or looking for a good benchmark whisky. Of the classic malts, Dalwhinnie has always been one of my favorites. The charisma he could have is unfortunately somewhat suppressed by the somewhat stale presentation with 43%, cold filtration, etc. A drop of water (not more!) Will help a little, but how good could this whisky be with slightly more alcohol, unchillfiltered and maybe 1-2 tails of bourbon barrels in Vatting?
    • Nose
      83 83
Fresh start, honey melon with a splash of lemon juice, some dried yeast, then the honey comes in spurts. In the background delicate, bittersweet heather and a nice breeze of spring rains, which in May lies in the pollengeschwängerten air.

A beautiful, stimulating nose, which is diluted by dilution and filtration unfortunately a bit.
    • Taste
      84 84
Oily-sweet start with steam of very slightly smoky, honey-soaked heather filling the mouth. A touch of black tea with honey and lemon, with a piece of butter cake. Very pleasant to drink, the malty bitterness in the back of the palate becomes stronger and makes for a very complex impression, of course somewhat impaired by the rather low intensity.

My advice: take a drop of water in and take relatively large sips. As a result, the mouthfeel widens and the whisky can develop its complexity better. He is always delicious.
    • Finish
      83 83
Medium long, warming, malty. The tea note with honey sweetness remains pleasant in the throat.

At first I would say, good but a 15 year old can do more. But you have to consider the price a little bit. With his 30 € (+ - 5) he competes against 10 year old, one or the other 12 years and mainly against NAS whiskys, and against just this whisky in this price range he scores a lot. That makes him a very good all-day dram and should also be part of every beginner's repertoire. He is always delicious.
    • Nose
Lots of vanilla, fruit and fresh hay for a day on the pasture. In addition, a very slight cinnamon note and a lot of freshly sawn wood are paired.

I find it really delicious now. After a break of about 8 years I was looking forward to such a boring Lala-Classic-Malt, and suddenly it tastes. Maybe he's gotten better, maybe a good batch, maybe I appreciate him now - no idea. 33 € - check. And a bargain for 15 years. Nice that I still have 15cl.

Funny, right after pouring a fresh Gummibären note, honey melon, I never had with the ... But only for a breath, hallucination? No, let glass calm down for a minute, there it is again, again only briefly, but clearly. Fascinating. Then kräutrig-fresh, for mint's not quite enough, not hay, not dry herbs, somewhere in between. Tea goes well with a mixture of herbal and peppermint teabags. Little sweetness, very pleasant.
    • Taste
clearly heavier and sweeter than I would have expected from the nose and color (and memory), it has a syrupy component, slightly of maple syrup and dark honey, herbs are also there (towards sweet hay), a touch of honeydew melon / overripe Pear in the "pass by", behind the tongue then chocolate-> wood-> white pepper

Due to my indecisiveness, I asked the bartender for a dram, blind.

N: Similar honeyed nose to the Glenfiddich 21yo WB [coming up], though more bready/porridge-y and a tad more youthful. Less fruits but swizzles more honey.

T: Honeyed porridge and a dry aspirin tinge [which thankfully is only a minor distraction].

F: Similar finish to the Glenfiddich on honeyed cocoa barley.

C: In the same ball park as the Glenfiddich and some Glenmorangie too. This Dalwhinnie has a better consistency and preferred mouthfeel but a far more basic nose and palate. Though I’m no great fan, it is however the best batch of Dalwhinnie 15 I’ve had to date.Scores a B-

Can be dangerously drinkable, a bottle never seems to last long. Easy drinking, a good warm up whisky, not demanding. Consistently pleasant rather than jaw dropping. It's a whisky for having a drop before you make up your mind what to drink! The distillers editions add a bit of richness and complexity. Dalwhinnie's have a nice delicate oak spice background. Honeyed, soft, malty.....

.....Oh - I just fell asleep....!!!

    ...where was I? ....

....Mr Murray Waxes lyrical about this one (95pts) . I don't remember any peat (I'll have retry, as my nose is just beginning to be able to identify peat at lower and lower levels in whisky)... but it was a friend's favourite - on his first time to Malt Whiskies...

Initially, delicate light bodied (‘brittle’), grapey, sherried dram, big on fruit (orange and bubblegum) and damp wood/ earth floor. Needs a while to open when sherry really moves into the fore and the dram opens rapidly into good quality sherry/ aged bual madeira notes. I took 6m to finish the bottle, towards the end it took on a Christmas Pudding aroma (with a brittle mouthfeel and without the body and richness). before and the development come to a full stop. Through the bottle the fruit declines.

In terms of taste, this Dalwhinnie also tends to go in the sweetish direction - malted barley, a little smoke, malt, mild honey, light floral notes with citrus and herbal sweets
    • Finish
Interesting finish with a hint of licorice, anise, slightly smoked barley and a slight sharpness.

    One of my first whiskys.
It is younger than its age, with notes of fresh fruit from the orchard and lemon. Vegetable notes on the palate and some wood and vanilla. Nothing transcendent and too diluted.

Nose:- Thick honey aroma filled up the glass, soothing on nose, layers of chocolate with nut oiliness. Aromatic.

Palate:- Clean and laid back. Taste like smoked thin honey water infused with shaved wood and a touch of spice,

Finish:- Medium length and warming. Sticky mouthfeel. Easy and muted.

On the nose, almonds, a little wax, cottony side, honeyed, lemony after the deluge of green fruits (apple, undifferentiated pear)
In the mouth, it stings, directly, then the green side spring, fruit and grass!
In the final, strong smell of alcohol, but it's short!

A very good dram that recalls the first tasting experiences, not changed, simple, at its price level!

N: Almost nothing from the nose as its so cold in the warehouse, even in the height of summer! Warming up to sweet lemon barley spirit, as ever.
T: Well, it's Dalwhinnie. You have to give it to them for consistency. It's always the same - neutral, calm cereal notes, with a spirit of fine quality. The casks element always appears tame, safe.
    F: Clean spirit, spirity.
C: I've never understood what the fuss is about with the Dalwhinnie 15, and even today's dram in the distillery isn't going to change my mind either

A good basic all-around malt. Nothing grand but no off-notes either. I once tried a comparison between this one and Johnnie Walker Blue Label just to see how that upmarket blend does next to a competently vatted entry level single malt. There was no real competition there as the Dalwhinnie walked all over the Blue Label which is funny considering their price difference.
    • Nose
Light peat and tangerine. Salinity, malts, vague fruitiness.
    • Taste
Surprisingly full taste. Some peaty roughness tickling the tongue and burning the throat. Very turfy, not at all marine. Tangerines, especially the scent of the skin between the segments of the fruit. Not particularly sweet like canned tangerines, but more subdued instead. Pears.
    • Finish
A bit of a letdown. Should be heavier, woodier. Now it's a bit flat and watery.

    • Nose
Slight adhesive note, marzipan, sweetish-fruity, caramel, little oak flavor, wood shavings. With some time in the glass, lemon and pear are added.

I drank it very cold (right from the frige). It's a nice whisky to serve to your guests during Christmas and the winter months. Especially for those who are not the experienced whisky drinkers.
    • Nose

Candied orange and a subtle groundy smell of peat

N: Sweet, stewed apples, unripe plums, dried papaya<mango, caramel & melting toffee, pear=prune juice and pokey=yeasty, honeyed malt with an old style oak influence. Its sweet and overall rounded, but yet a little wayward, ‘pokey’ being the word.
T: Another rugged one [a la Black bottle WB] - starting out with tannic, stewed fruits and a muddled nutty, poly-tar centre leading into a malty dry, oil-slick oak smokiness. A longer journey than expected with the subtle, indiscriminate notes towards the finish offering the most fascination. Adding water can’t get rid of the overall sharpness as it really struggles with itself in the main, only settling in the latter stages.
F: Rather a longer finish too with chocolate, jammy notes moving to a nutty, malty conclusion with the malty/waxy/Ovaltine/chicory notes emerging as successors. Theres rather a sublime tequila/G&T conclusion at the death for those willing to wait for the credits, aside from metallic/oily, crisp like industrialness that is.
C: The point in-between the palate and finish appears to be this malt’s sweet spot. Otherwise, and despite its qualities its a bit of a struggle - although this 15yo has grown on me somewhat, especially because of its general contentiousness. Batch consistency remains an issue - see Whisky-monitor scores for the Dalwhinne 15yo which span from 1980 up to 2013 [at time of writing, July 2015].

Good balance between sweet and fresh/sour notes. A gentle albeit unchallenging dram.
    • Nose
Both sweet (malt sugar, caramel) and fresh (green apples, melon). Also a scent of straw and a trace of peat.
    • Taste
Sour fruits (green apple, lemon), flowery, sweet baked apple with honey.

Fresh, sweet and a clean mouthfeel. Citrus fruits, sugar, a bit drying with a hint of smoke and salt.

    Aroma: Apple, vanilla, citrus, floral notes, malty, herbs, grated apple, overripe fruit, light licorice, sweet, orange, ripe banana, very slightly nutty, vanilla, fruits, and much more like biscuits / cereals (hard to describe), Hint of chocolate;

    Taste: oak, honey, fruity, malty, minimal smoke, mild, round, yummy;

    Finish: medium, malty, has something very herbaceous, something like Peterle perhaps;
Conclusion: very tasty beginner whisky, round, light, from the bourbon barrel, balanced, not complex.

N: Highland/Ancnoc like with some Speyside notes. Very fruity, citrus, woody, yeasty - familiar regional nose with some potency. Damp nose but not musty, this is a fresh clean mould
T: Woody, yeasty, sugary, honey arrival becoming more and more malty, citrusy and woody. Some nutmeg/fennel freshness coming out over time and some noticeable salt and vibrancy overall and an Interesting interplay between the sweet and sour but a tad ambiguous.
F: Citrus and honey wood lingers. Some bourbon sugars struggling to come through
C: Highland/speysider and not too shabby. A clean, balanced rather safe whisky which whilst having lots going for it, lacks that spark to catch a fire.

    Scores a C+

Simple, but very pleasant nose, with honey and grassy/heather elements reminding me of the HP12, minus the peat smoke. A drop of water brought forward more citrus fruits, orange rind and toffee fudge. Malty and sweet on the palate, with touches of vanilla custard and honey. Medium-length, nutty finish. An easy-to-drink whisky. Not massively complex, and quite light overall, but all the different aspects are held together nicely and it keeps its balance throughout. I would certainly consider recommending this to someone new to whisky.

First of all you recognize, this one has wood influence. Maybe some cedar, maybe some hartz. I also find some apples, the sour ones like Granny Smith and some lime -citrus is not enough-
    • Taste
Mellow, again with the wood, hints of milk chocolate and some caramel. You can also find some bitter notes you can notice when you drink coffee
    • Finish
Soft and medium -some would call it short-

This Whisky does what it's suppose to! It is an easy summer dram, that is easily approachable to pretty much anyone. It doesn't need water in opinion but adds some more woody notes. A good affordable whisky, well done Dalwhinnie!
    • Nose
Good balanced oak and a lot of honey, green apples, vanilla, pears and goose berries.
    • Taste
A lot of sweet honey and vanilla and again balanced oak. It is smooth, sweet and fruity in the background. Something reminds me of a soft banana flavored candy bar.
    • Finish
The finish is again honey and careful oak, it is short to medium in length.

Since I was quite enthusiastic about the â € œDalwhinnie Distillers Editionâ € (tasting notes ...), I was very curious about the standard bottling of the house. Now I am glad that I only got one sample! All in all very delicious, but I just missed what I liked about the DE: Draft ...
    • Nose
Mmmh, some peat mixed with heather, to various other herbs. Add to that a honey-like sweetness paired with a slightly floral aroma. It is also slightly smoky and you can find a slightly fruity aroma and some sherry.
    • Taste
In the mouth, he presents himself fresh with a slight sharpness. As in the nose, honey-like sweetness, floral notes and some vanilla are found here.
    • Finish
For the strong start relatively short and only slightly warming. Leaves a slight, but somewhat unpleasant, bitterness on the palate. Pretty dry in the finish.
