- A very nice experience, easy, good balance.
Some chocolate, spice, some coffee tones.
Chocolate tone is confirmed real nice, some hints of coffee and caramel, fruit, red fruit, some orange as well.
Dark chocolate, some vanilla and fruit, orange. Fairly long finish! Nice!
- Balance: (23/25)
Overall, a very easy sipping and enjoyable dram.
(20/25) Tart cherries, brown sugar, vanilla, red apples, and raspberries. Oddly fruity but also a lot of darker spices as well, cinnamon and nutmeg come to mind.
( 24/25) Very sweet and candy like. Almost more of a fruit syrup. Cherries, apple, vanilla maple, raspberries, a good deal of malt. So many red fruits it is incredible and such a sweet and enjoyable dram.
( 21/25) Tannins come out in the end, touch of wood and heavy on the cinamon, and strong vanilla notes.
- "The beautiful ruby color is derived from the ruby port pipes that are used for maturation, and the intensity of this hue is untouched by the non chill-filtering process. `Ruban` is Gaelic for Ruby." - Distillery
