N- A wee too much of cask strength lately, and found this always lovely bottling of Balblair, elegantly soft as always with scents of earthy rattan and sweet tobacco. Zest of pear drops and wild little white posy flower, bundle of baby breath? The usual vanilla, soft spice and plum also in there, though not as pronounce, and may be not a bad thing.
P- Medium body and milky, fragrant wood driven with vanilla and soft white pepper coating, appears lots of width but shorts on flavors and depth. A nice, simple and pleasant one nonetheless.
F- Long, sticky honey and sweet wort with tart berries, orange, modern. — at The Whisky Bar, Kuala Lumpur.
