I had a big sample from Cyra (thank you) and I'm pleasantly surprised. I recommend not only to Króc for tasting. I even think about the whole bottle.

What the? It's a clear bourbon from the first sip, but it's so good! Believe it or not, but I do not mind anything! On the contrary, I have very nice feelings about this "kentucky straight bourbon whiskey". Smells beautifully smooth, full of skin, vanilla, fresh citrus and varnish. In the background, some over-ripened fruit, orange jam, heavy fruit. It literally tempts me to drink. (85 b)
    • Taste
Pleasantly soft, such a velvet, 50% would not even guess. The flavor profile matches the scent. Skin, oranges, varnish, sweetness. Bitter chocolate in the flavor. (84 b)

Evan Williams White Label 50% Bottled in Bond.

    Amber.

Aroma: Toffee apple. Building intense standard bourbon aroma. Woody char. Peanut brittle. Good aroma.

Taste has more peanut brittle, a fair bit of booze and a rough edge, a little more heat than I'd ideally want from a bourbon, good sugared peanut vibes, very salted peanuts with some caramelised notes.

It's a very good-value bourbon. Solid stuff but yes the cheapness comes through with that rough edge. Would happily drink this time and again but I wouldn't really buy a bottle given the other options available. I love the peanut vibes though. Nice potency, nice character, but just not quite carrying the heat well enough. You get the impression than a longer matured bottling of this spirit could be a bit special though 3.35/80

This is a good classic bourbon. It starts with sweet notes of vanilla, corn and caramel, and light influence of oak on nose. The palate is a little bit sharp and sour, spicy with vanilla, caramel and citrus notes. The middle finish is a spicy, with vanilla note and light oak dryness. It’s a very good choice to drink with friends.
