    blind tasting
The taste beat the nose to lengths.
    • Nose
very reserved, alcohol is noticeable in the nose, vanilla, honey and citrus fruits ... everything but very discreet. After a while he gets fuller and stronger.
    • Taste
oily and sweet, tingling, oranges, apricots, vanilla.
    • Finish
short to medium long, fruity and then dry.

  2. Dottore scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

    blind tasting
Tip: about 46% maybe more, well integrated alcohol. Ex Sherry Casks + Bourbon Casks. Could z. B be an Arran, about 18 years. I like it. 87 pts

Edit: For the age wonderful Malt! Not available anymore, too bad!
    • Nose
      Citrus, pineapple, Vinschgerl, cinnamon, honey
    • Taste
Slight acidity like champagne tingling on tip of tongue, some fruit, some sweetness, some vanilla, very well balanced
    • Finish
      Medium long, warm, beautiful!

  3. didi1893 scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

The fruity nose whets the appetite for more. The taste is dominated by spicy and spicy aromas, the finish is extremely long and complex. I like it very much!
    • Nose
Blind tasting: The first nosing citrus fruits are immediately noticeable. Malty sweetness and vanilla follow before the alcohol begins to tickle in the nose. The citrus fruits are turning towards overripe fruits. Caramel and toffee penetrate through the citrus fruits.
    • Taste
Relatively mild the taste begins before suddenly spicy wood explodes in the mouth. It bizzles and prickles in the entire mouth area, chocolate sweetness mixes with a pinch of coffee. The sharpness increases noticeably, tart wood aromas become more intense.
    • Finish
Chubby warm the finish exudes a great mouthfeel. A touch of coffee and milk chocolate mixes. Sharpness now dominates the finish. For an extremely long time the finish exudes a chubby and sharp mouthfeel. At the end of the departure creates a touch of espresso.

    • Finish
relatively long, but of medium intensity, dry fruity
