Aroma : Minerality (salt, stones), butter (rather vegetable), fat, smoke, dry branches, grassy bitterness, lemons with zest, some dried fruits and dry berries, a hint of sweet pastry with vanilla, notes of perfume. Good. Gentle and not spontaneous. The taste is a little bit harsh in the beginning. Bread, malt, salt, bitterness, astringent oak, hot pepper, a little vanilla, confectionery sweetness (baking, sugar icing, candy, lollipops), lemons, smoke. The aftertaste is acute at the beginning: pepper, smoke, grassy bitterness, citrus, decreasing sweetness. In development, astringent oak, wood tar, malt, peat, mineralization. Conclusion . Not a bad whisky. The aroma is soft and attractive; the taste is excessively harsh, but good; the finish is pretty simple. Score 88 (n23t22f21b22).

In terms of color, he hardly got anything. Very bright, nothing exciting. I would not access directly. I have pear compote again in my nose. But there he is, the smoke of an almost extinguished fire. And immediately I have a little bit of ash aroma on my lips. Delicious. And there is so much sweetness in the glass. Whoa. and then there's something tingling. smells like chili. And still I have this ash aroma on my lips A first sip it reveals: an ingenious mixture of smoke, sweetness, pear, overripe grapes from the winemaker, a bit of ash. And the alcohol fits perfectly. Not too intrusive, but sufficient to give the whisky the necessary depth. Despite 22 years not overly wood, only a little bitterness remains. And then there's vanilla,
But this time more like a vanilla sugar. And my first impression was: you have to chew the whisky, otherwise that will not work. Already crass.
