Whisky Reviews for Glenugie 1981 DT

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.70 points

  1. Feusi scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

Powerfull on the nose, malt and citrus notes. Sweet, ripe oranges, spicy wood caresses the tongue, aromatic and strongly, even some dark chocolate. The long finish leaves spicy notes of wood and some smoke. Very nice filling of a lost distillery, you could ask for nothing else.

  2. tomy63 scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Very nice whisky, very fruity with a very large scale in the mouth and a very long finish.
    • Nose
cereals, citrus, a little nutty, lacks a little expressiveness.
    • Taste
powerful, very fruity, lots of orange, tangerine, spices, some wood, vanilla, very large aromatic scale.
    • Finish
very long, a lot of spices now, the hazel comes back a little.
