    Balance sheet 22
    • Nose
23 The aroma is closed, not bright, it develops. The first nose is a creamy filling, dried peaches, light fruit sour. Over time, it opens into a very bright sherry, dried fruits.
    • Taste
22 Citrus sourish, burnt oak - implicitly, lollipops. Taste balanced, pleasant
    • Finish
21 Prolonged, continues the taste. Candy sour, more clearly burnt oak, coffee. Drying

A great blended malt!! Includes Macallan and Highland Park

    Colour: Amber

Nose: Rich, rich; complex. A merry go round of flavours... spices, nutty, Citrus peels, toffee, but also dark chocolate

Taste: Woody notes, rum, figs, X-mas cake. Rich rounded flavours.

Finish: Fruity, mild in spices, lingers nicely

bottle not special, but box classy

  3. Sonett scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Nice and drinkable, fruity and tasty with a balanced finish but is a bit flat in the appearance.

  4. The Macallan scored this whisky 95 points Connoisseur

A good dram with some lovely spicey notes, but very pleasant.
    • Nose
A rich old whisky, a rich fruitcake, some clear Highland Park notes in the back, quite some sherry Highland Park like notes, rich dark chocolate and very complex this 30y old.
    • Taste
Soft and full of flavor, creamy and woody notes, slightly dry but a glorious taste.
    • Finish
Spices are glowing, but lingering with some sweet tobacco like notes.

Time and cask work for over 30 years.

Worth every year of its long maturing, this wonderfully clear, dark, russet whisky

Releases a bouquet packed with pineapple, citrus oil and cedar wood.
The rich, sweet palate is just as satisfying, shot through with oak and mixed peel.

And as you’d expect of such a well-aged whisky,it leaves a lingering, rich, sweet finish.
