Balance: ( 23/25) Quite well balanced, even if it is a little simple in the finish.
Great above standard but easily affordable Irish Single Malt.
( 21/25) The incredible sweet and fruity smell I have been noticing more and more in single malts aged exclusively in bourbon. This seems a little cleaner and fresher, with coconut, apples, and pears, and perhaps a slight touch of mint. Also a mild rose character.
( 18/25) Very light, and watery, nice sweetness, although that is most that is there. A good bit of cereal grains in there too, with just a touch of vanilla and coconut.
( 15/25) Lingering wood tannins, and sweetness. Not a whole lot going on.
