  3. SpeyburnClanGermany did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    • Nose
old, cardboard, cellar, a bit pungent due to the 50%, musty
musty, grapefruit, suppressed vanilla, limestone, plant stem,
      Chlorophyll and fresh green branches
    • Taste
      some smoke, pepper, orange peel
It's a mix of unripe pears and canned pear juice with that slightly metallic note

great with water too. Much sweeter, slightly tart, smoky, peppery.
salty, smoky, very intense. Also a 10, but more pronounced in all respects. The 50% do it!
    • Finish
long finish, dry, smoky, sweetly salty. very nice.

    • Nose
      Colour:
      White wine

      Nose:
The colleague begins immediately modrig. Moist cellar hits it really well. Modriges floral water and some withered flowers. Again, a flag of smoke and damp leather. There is a clearly mineral undertone, reminiscent of limestone. With some time in the glass comes wet leaves, salty water, lime and impregnating spray. In the background lies the somewhat immature, bright fruit. Goes in the direction of apricots and peaches. There is still a spice that unfortunately I can not determine.
    • Taste
Begin nice salty with a trace of smoke. I even mean something meaty with a pleasant sharpness. Followed by hazelnut and mushy fruit. Also in the glass this musty flower water and also the mineral aromas of lime dust and earth. At the second sip it becomes interesting, as the fruit becomes creamier. Goes even in smoke jelly. Lemon and a hint of chocolate.
    • Finish
Medium. A salty sweet comes first. But then it is replaced by a sour berry note. Above all lies a discreet smoke coat.
