Colour:
gold
Nose:
Sweet and fruity character with lots of vanilla, leather, cereals, toffee and salt. The fruit mainly consists of limes, soft lemon juice and subtle mango! Otherwise rather unspectacular - a Highlander with Speyside genes.
Taste:
Powerful and very salty pulsating, as well as dull and fruity. The salinity is enormous and is accompanied by cereals, malt, mocha notes, some liquorice and sweet fruit, as well as honey. In the reverberation a little dull cardboard and wood - quite strange but good!
Finish:
Long - spicy and dark. Brown cane sugar, again mocha, espresso, liquorice, wood, vanilla, malty grain, cardboard and light fruit.
