    • Nose
8,4 Dość ostra z nutą pomarańczy, orzecha, soli oraz dymu torfowego z odrobiną karmelu, goździka i toffi.
    • Taste
8,5 Rozgrzewająca z nutami cytryny, soli oraz wędzonego sera z akcentem miodu, zboża i wanilii.
    • Finish
8,4 Krótki, pikantny, słony lekko gorzki z nutą torfu i niedojrzałego jabłka.

  2. Gloin scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

A lot of smoke, young Islay whiskey, very sweet and tasty. Similar to Ardbeg 10, but less harmonic. One-dimensional, but just what you can expect: sweet and smoky without sherry.

  3. Ivynor scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

A very simple, easy, and sweet blend. Rather pleasant and a good introduction to start in the peat. (Less good value for money than Finlaggan however)
    • Nose
First, we come across a lemon peat, very classic. A little alcohol. It's young. Bitterness tip. Not very subtle but well done.
    • Taste
Smoke and sugar. Some citrus notes.
    • Finish
Sweet and easy, always the combo smoke-sugar-citrus.

  4. markjedi1 scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

    This
is a very pleasant young Ileach, fit to be served with fish.
    • Nose
It is immediately obvious that this is young whisky. I
get some smoke and peat, typical coastal elements and smoked ham, but also
ashes and even some sour cream. Cow-hide and plasticine! The sweetness, in the
form of caramel and lime, remains behind. Sharp and clean.
    • Taste
The mouthfeel is somewhat watery, but heavily peated with
ashes, soot and smoldering hearth, a big swig of briny water, but also quite a
      bit of honey and grains. Typical <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Islay.
Surprisingly nice balance for such a young animal.
    • Finish
The finish is salty and drying, but very short.
