The ideal whisky to drink in the summer in the garden.

remarkably refreshing: 7-up and this Yellow Lemon scented detergent " Dreft" which i use to clean my dishes and glasses.

Underneath you can find some flowery perfume notes, and laurus leaves. perhaps even a bit of salmiak. Also these grassy notes are present as expected from a lowlander.

The finish is still fresh all be it a bit short.

Is it the best whisky ever? no. Does it have a taste profile which i never experienced before and highly entertaining? YES!

Biggest surprise on a great tasting evening. The notes maybe weird, but really nice to try!
    • Nose
Quite the surpirse!? Very fresh, but not like todays standards. It's like a combination of Sprite softdrink with 'dreft citroen' a dutch detergent with lemon flavour...that's something unusual yes, but still nice.
    • Taste
After the lemon freshness there is a mineral touch even a flinty note. Seasalt and some salty liquorice. Still a soapy yet fresh side. Pure cream, fresh cut grass and lemoncake. It gets more towards candy in the end.
    • Finish
Lemon, orange skin and remains fresh.

  4. Luigisim scored this whisky 89 points Expert Senior

Mild dram, fruity and easy to drink. Very peculiar note of mint. It suits perfectly hot summer evenings
    • Nose
Citrus notes, in particular lemon and citronella. Strong smell of mint
    • Taste
Peppermint chewing gum, elderflower and sweetness at the end
    • Finish
A bit too short, as if it is a base for cocktails, Mojito maybe?

A Lowland malt unusual , out of order.

Almost looks like a whisky islay, but without the characteristic aroma of smoke and peat with much less intense. Vaguely resembles a Tobermory but spicier
