I could easily sit and nose this one all night! One drop of water didn't change
the profile at all, and I wouldn't want to add any more. Buttery and soft on
the palate, balanced by some lovely cracked black pepper. Medium length finish,
slightly drying and with the oak present, but it never tips over the edge into
bitterness. A soft, gentle, and elegant elder statesman with plenty of
character. Really lovely stuff!
