Nice legs, but very thin mouth feel. Is quite suggestive, doesn't hit you in the face like some other whiskies. Give it time, explore it, find out what's down there.
Recommendable if you find it on offer.
Fresh, clean, apples, fruits like after spring/summer rain slightly wet but bursting with taste, weeee hint of acidity but in a good way. Vanilla. Coolness.
With water: the sherry influence comes through. Sherry with apples. Wee hint of marzipan, but very subtle.
Fresh and clean. Green apples. Light peat, a bit of smoked eel. Flatbread from Wasa. Woody sweetness, like maple syrup. Fried egg ... of all things, the white bit at least. Light hint of lychee. Wet grass. Paper napkin (yes, I've eaten a paper napkin before).
The green wet apples lingers, but else the finish is rather short.
With water: the sherry cask lingers a bit, same with the marzipan.
