6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 89.25 points
- [November, 2015] Together with friends I emptied bottle no. 169 that I bought for 80 Euro in October, 2014.In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50 - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 90. My notes state a very vanilla-ish profile that nevertheless shows a nice complexity.
- Beautiful old Bunnahabhain.
Nice nose, fruity, pineapple, but also something old, slightly moulder, oak, vanilla, sewing machine oil. Pretty complex nose, fun.
Strong, vanilla, oak, liquorice, some pepper. With water more oak, tingling, citrus, cloves and a beautiful pepper note.
medium length, citrus, tart oak, some salt and vanilla.
- Very very good. Very powerful and fruity. Great!
Very fresh and intensive, goes up the nose immediately like wasabi, malty, fruity, pears, ripe bananas, tropical fruits, vanilla
Punchy, very thick and mellow, liquorice, fruity, nice wood notes and a subtle sweetness, fruity, citrus fruits
Long and burning
- Intensive vanilla notes. Pretty fresh and strong. Water is welcome.
