Great and intense nose, the mouthfeel can not quite keep up. Nevertheless, my taste pretty much met, very tasty.
Light, partly tropical fruits of peach and mango, vanilla, honey, spicy oak chips, without smoke. For 57% very well integrated alcohol.
Time and air in the glass do this malt really well. The longer it is in the glass, the more it resembles a beautifully old matured ex-Bourbon bottling.
Sweet on the tongue, tingles lightly, the fruits now rather lighter with pear and pineapple, spicy oak notes are only discreetly noticeable at first. Again, the longer I study the malt, the more noticeable are the spicy oak tones and even more tropical fruits.
Short to medium, and overall rather simple. The sweet fruit basket gives way quickly. What remains are a well-preserved tongue and slight bitter and spicy notes on the palate.
