Croissant creme brulee menthol baked with an apple
Finished form but dyed in barrels ...
Apple Tart American Cherry American bourbon liquor with rich mellow flavor and no savory taste. A glimpse of black pepper from the middle
Bitter chocolate (almost no sweetness) Hot deep roast coffee
Well ... it was like that

    ❤ beautiful malt !!
    • Nose
A lot of vanilla, some alcohol in the nose. But there are also some dark heavy notes.
    • Taste
At first soft, on the tongue the alcohol is only slightly felt. Nice sweet. Some honey and a lot of vanilla.
    • Finish
A bit spicy, but pleasant and long it sounds.

  5. Malt Hans scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Fruity and spicy aroma, vanilla, mint, pear, banana, mango, cardamom, floral honey, apricot, dry hay and malt. Marzipan sweet and tannic taste, pepper, coconut milk, orange, unripe banana, toffee, vanilla and malt. Long, sweet, spicy and herbal end.

The nose was slightly better, but on the palate and in the finish it loses some points, hence gets the same score as the 22 Year Old. But hey, this whisky stilled passed with flying colors, of course! Around 185 EUR.
    • Nose
Strangely enough, despite the higher ABV, this one does not burn at all. It shows baked apples on cinnamon, but has a larger dose of spices and flowers. A lot of marzipan here. In short: all the same aromas (bar the banana) as the younger version, only more if you know what I mean. The nose is gently soft and round. Not as complex, but still more enchanting.
    • Taste
On the palate, it is again softer and rounder and a little less boisterous than the 10 year younger brother. It does show a slight bitterness, which the young one showed only in the finish. Not totally unexpected, of course. Spicy, sweet and slightly bitter thus drying towards the end. Water? Too late.
    • Finish
The finish is wonderfully long, but a touch too bitter to my taste.
