    The aroma of dried fruit and confectionery with a pleasant balanced effect of peat, nuances of peaches, prunes and wood sleepers, the taste is sweet, delicate, with tanning notes, sherry and smoke, at the long finish comes chocolate and a signature Ardbeg plume.
    Complex and complex drink. It opened and played with completely different colors, the nose was generally difficult to attribute to any of the profiles, with the exception of the signature peat Ardbegovsky train.

    Perfectly integrated sherry
    • Nose
      beautiful fruity aromas perfectly integrated in discreet sweet peat smoke. A light touch of pastry slightly salty.
    • Taste
      Nice smoky notes maybe very little iodine, and lots of sweet raisins but also a little bit malty.
    • Finish
      The finish is medium long with sweet smoke and suddenly the smoke fades and a sweet fruity note briefly flashes

      Christmas cake, walnut oil, parma violets, spices, cedar and pine needles
    • Taste
      Deep, wide, dark, and lush. Warm, salted caramel, smoke, tobacco, cocoa powder, marshmallow burnt over a campfire, and pecan pie. There is a citrus bitterness in the mid-to-late-palate.

      Long, intense and chewy with salty sweetness

    Superb dram that seems far away from the simple ten ... it is very pleasant and complex at the same time, it deserves a place in the middle of our bars!

      At the opening the nose is really beautiful and very concentrated.
      In the middle of an aerial peat, there is a smell of caramelized grilled meat (bbq sauce) but also iodine and a hint of wood glue with a little ventilation.
      Alcohol seems really well integrated.
    • Taste
      The mouth holds the promises of the nose even if tastes and perfumes do not come in the same order.
      It's full and fat, a wave of salt invades my palate followed closely by a tasty and elegant peat or we find the meaty notes mixed with very sweet candied fruits.
      A mentholated tip pleasantly refreshes the mouth and avoids heaviness.

      The finish is long with the return on candied fruit and smoke that reminds sometimes of the seaside or meat grilled over a wood fire.

    The classic combination of smoke, peat and sherry. Well balanced, full, rich and spicy. Maybe there are better Smoke & Sherry marriages nowadays, but for me the Uigeadail is the original.

      peat, woody spices (a lot of cinamon & vanilla) (89)

      peat, woody spices (mostly cinamon) (89)
    • Finish
      not overly complex, but all nicely balanced (89)

    • Nose
      like BBQ and/or pipe, sweet sherry that feels kinda old and raisiny, hints of
      vanilla, and the earth from a barn. Maybe a little brine.
    • Taste
      again like that from a pipe or a BBQ; deep sherry mixing very well with the
      smoke. It is as if it coats the mouth like smoke from well-made pipe tobacco.
      The nose just carries to the palate brilliantly. Hints of spice, maybe pepper,
      and subdued vanilla.
    • Finish
      and pleasing. The smoke-sherry combination really lingers. Slight spice (again,
      maybe pepper) and lightly fried bacon.
