- Spicy-fruity single malt. Great nosing. A little more vol% would be good. Price / performance ratio quite expensive for the offered.
Sweet, honey, oranges, herbs, vanilla
mild and soft, then spicy oak, nutty, light fruitiness
very dry, dry fruitiness, spicy oak
- [August, 2010] Together with friends I emptied bottle no. B17625 that I bought for 69 Euro in July, 2010.
In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50 - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 87,5. My notes state a very quaffable fruity profile without flaws.
Very nice aromas of honey with exotic fruits and burnt wood.
Vanilla, honey and subtle smoke.
A very long and nice aftertaste, hints of vanilla and fruit at the end.
- honey Sweet
Gorgeous honey flavors Sweet
Sweet The 21 years of storage come through. Some oak.
- The color does not have to be and a little more Alc. Vol.% Would be desirable. Otherwise beautiful fruity ex-bourbon whisky with its own character.
