- Fruity and spicy aroma, vanilla, butter, malt, pear, mango, nutmeg, mint, ripe banana, floral honey and dry hay. Vanilla sweet and fruity taste, mango, pepper, mint, grapefruit marmalade, malt, toffee and tea. Long, fruity, spicy and malty end.
- Old Pulteney 1980 - 2011, approx. 31 years, 43% alc.
Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail
Expansion: Ex-Bourbon barrels
Region: Highlands, Scotland
Nose: Complex with a light freshness, slightly leathery with aromas of barley malt, sweet-and-sweet. Behind it light roasted aromas and vanilla pudding. Honey notes are also found, something heath.
Palate: Sweetish and malty, then a light touch of oak, creamy character. All in all, very pleasant.
Finish: Rather short, with spices and oak
Conclusion: A nice Pulteney with older age. recommendable

- Tasting Notes by SCOMA:
Aroma: Fresh and fragrant with hints of barley sugar. Vanilla extract aromas arise and defined sweetness and honey notes linger.
Taste: Sweet with flavors of spice mixture. A breath of sea air (sea water).
Finish: Short and subtle.
