The following sips are a little less precise on the aromas, but the first impression leaves an indelible mark.
    Enthusiasm: 5/5 Whisky n ° 1362
    • Nose
Beautifully wooded, it evokes the skin of pencil sharpeners in the best way. Malt, delicious fruit all in restraint (pulling on peach, even exotic fruits). Vanilla ice cream.
    • Taste
Touch quite exceptional, velvety, almost "floury" - for lack of a better word trying to designate the thickness of the liquid. Fishing again.
    • Finish
Intense ! Then more fine and delicate.

"Amazingly, I'm getting references of Old Pulteney here. ... And I'm also getting the aromatic nature of Glen Garioch which in fact is not that far up the road from this distillery."

On the nose, woody, sweet spices, a relen of leather, a yellow fruit scent!
    2nd:
floral sensation, vegetable, a little musty, liquid glue and a pastry return.

This is my first Lochside and I must say that it was even better than I dared hoping for! At first the nose was very Grappa-like which shocked me a little since I don't like Grappa. But then it quickly turned into a burst of Tangerines, Orange zest and honeyed oils. THe taste is creamy and again dominated by Orange Citrus fruits. The aftertaste goes on and on!

Fesh, Fruity and a little bit oily. At the end some nice peach
