Spicy, smoky, honey, fruity, seaweed
Dry, floral, woody, fruity
Medium long, dry, fruity
- TASTING NOTE by G&M;
Nose: Spicy with sweet aromatic aromas - honey, dry grass and herbal notes.
Palate: Dry & clean with bracken/gorse elements.
Nose: Fruity - boiled sweets. Aromatic and spicy.
Palate: Salty, sea tangle with a woody edge. Fruit flavours slowly develop.
Finish: Slightly fruity, drying.
Cask Type(s): Refill Bourbon Barrels.
Whisky Style: Smooth and aromatic - very easy drinking.
- It is a fairly good malt in spite of the young age.
Mild and mellow, with a delicate berry-like sweetness, almost like crushed sugared strawberries.
Winy astringency, cherry, strong tea (orange pekoe), cinnamon, vanilla cookies.
Maritime saltiness interacts beautifully with bitterness of tangerine peel.
