Such a whisky is pleasant to enjoy, it is very difficult to guess the taste, but all the more interesting!

    • Nose
Herbaceous fruity lacquer garlic, freshly cut sedge, pearl barley, ginger, lemongrass, motherwort, heather honey
    • Taste
Powerful explosions of a huge number of different flavors from all sides: lollipops.
Astringent and very bright perfumery, which actively comes second, but slightly breaks the balance.
Bourbon expression in all its floral and honey beauty.
    • Finish
Smooth, transitioning from fruity herbiness to bourbon bitter woodiness. Sedge.
      Very long lasting.

Lollipops, apple and vanilla tones, ash and ashes turning into fire, a blast of high degree dominating the taste.

  4. Calmar scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

A light and non-binding aroma on the palate detonates and blows your palate to shreds by an explosive wave of peat and ash - unexpectedly, brutally, stunning, then a gradual decrease in tension in the aftertaste and into a new circle, an interesting composition and power mask a rather poor palette and youth , well, here the choice is yours.
    • Nose
      Restrained, dry, first nose - light smoke and berry jam; an old fire pit, ash, stone dust, old leather goods, industrial textiles, paints - a little oil and something else like gouache;
    • Taste
Burning, powerful, peat, ash notes, pepper wave, ginger, oak, candy tones, burnt branches, lemon peel, old leather goods.
    • Finish

A Royal Brackla with rough citrussy edges. A bit too strong for my taste.
    • Nose
Ultra grassy. Loads of citrus fruit as well. Lemon-curd. Aceton.  Spirity. Later on more sweet-sour farmy notes. Whiff of smoke and a little soap.
    • Taste
Oemph, waxy but very sharp and strong. Estery. Lemon and lime all the way. Peel zest. Kiwi fruit as well. Cedar wood.
    • Finish
Quite long. Pepper. Pine. Spearmint. Salty at the end.
